Veranstaltungen mit Alex Bamberg:

Alex Bamberg has over 20 years’ experience in sustainable transport, emission regulations and energy markets. As CEO and founder of ChargePoint Services Ltd (CPS), he secured the contract for the 2012 London Olympics and project managed and delivered Ecotricity’s Electric Highways national rapid DC EV network. In 2019, CPS and fully owned GeniePoint Rapid DC network had become the 2nd largest DC public network in the UK and was acquired by Engie. Transferring his wealth of knowledge and experience in the EV sector, Alex now heads up global marine fast charge network Aqua superpower as CEO.

Aqua superPower is the first fast charge network company awarded a grant under the Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition, funded by the UK Department for Transport, and delivered with Innovate UK. MeLL (Marine e-Charging Living Lab), a consortium led by the University of Plymouth in partnership with Plymouth City Council, Princess Yachts Limited and Aqua superpower, saw the UK’s first charging network for electric vessels switched on in Plymouth in April 2022. Aqua announced the roll-out of the world’s first dedicated global marine fast charging network in 2021. A year on and the network has become a reality with the creation of regional and local charging corridors in key boating destinations in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the UK, the US, and the Nordics. Aqua superPower is developing an all-electric and integrated global ecosystem of marine superchargers to measurably reduce the impact of boating on the marine environment.
