Elke Demeyer

Elke Demeyer studied bioscience engineering at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium. In 2021, she joined Centexbel-VKC as member of the Plastic Characterisation, Processing & Recycling group. Her research focusses on the development of self-reinforced and natural fibre-reinforced biobased thermoplastic composites, how to boost their performance, reducing their ecological impact and creating a circular economy.
