I was born in a family that has always had a strong bond with the sea, especially my grandpa; since I was a child, he brought me to sail with his sailboat. Growing up I started noticing the problems regarding traditional and outdated mooring systems, widely used among shipowners, included my grandfather. So, during the last year of aeronautical engineering master’s degree, I wondered: “Why not creating something that could solve all the problems related to the mooring of my grandfather boat?”, and I came up with the idea of the Seadamp.
