Nienke Zetzema

Nienke Zetzema is a successor in the family business Waterland Monnickendam BV. She holds a master’s degree in business administration, loves sailing on one of the company’s Dehler yachts and managed to expand the Waterland brand. Waterland is the largest nautical centre on the Ijsselmeer with over 1000 berths, a yacht service, rigging department, short-stay apartments, camperspots and is the charterbase of subsidiary Waterland Yacht Charter. She and her husband are currently developing a new sustainable marina. The Waterland marina (owned since 2002) has the blue flag and is one of the leaders in environmentally sustainable operating a marina business. For these accomplishments Waterland has been awarded with the green pennant by Blue Flag International, for the 9th time in 2022.
