In pursuit of the most famous trophy in the sailing world - the road to the 37th America's Cup

He is THE German design guru: Physicist and yacht designer Martin Fischer is now chief designer for the British team INEOS Britannia after his Prada engagement at the past 36th America's Cup. Led by Sir Ben Ainslies, the team is a Challenger of Records in the hunt for the sailing world's most famous trophy at the 37th America's Cup in 2024.

The competition for the oldest trophy in international sport dates back to 1851. This is new for the 37th Amercia's Cup in 2024:
The America's Cup will maintain its unique position by incorporating traditions while continuing to push the boundaries for innovation, technology, boat design, the event and TV broadcasts. Remaining in play is the most recently introduced boat class of monohull AC75 yachts in new "Version 2." Only one new build per team is allowed. The yachts, manned by only eight sailors, are to remain for at least two Cup editions. In addition, smaller boats of the type AC40 will be introduced, which will be used as test and training boats as well as in the Women's and Youth America's Cup.
