Given the low load, our boat engines should last almost forever. Nevertheless, engines with only relatively few operating hours have to be replaced again and again. What is the reason for this? It is not the typical consequences of neglected oil changes, but other errors during installation and maintenance. If these are known, the problems can be prevented quite easily and inexpensively.
