The Heinz Nixdorf Association tries to maintain the ideals of the exceptional entrepreneur and to adapt them to the changing challenges. In doing so, the 12 members of the association proudly look back on more than 30 years of sport promotion. The roots are in the starboat class.
The sponsorship under the association's charter is multi-faceted. From the junior levels of the Olympic high-performance sports at the current federal base in Kiel, to the support of the state work in competitive sports in NRW, the organization of the German Junior Sailing League, the operation of the HNV Academy on Lake Möhne for the benefit of the league's young talent and women's sailing (Helga Cup), the flanking and steering of the junior work in Westphalia to the local work of a sailing club of a high school, the spheres of activity range.
Since 2021, the HNV is also back in the development of junior work in the Star boat class. With the Star BIG(3) Series and an elaborate Academy operation in Flensburg. And ....: with very respectable successes. As always since 1992.
