Ocean Plastic Pollution is still getting worse than better. While clean up initiatives are underway all around the world, we are still adding 8 billion tons of plastic to the ocean every year.
We don’t need more clean ups, but we need to turn off the tab. Educating children at a young age about the dangers of plastic pollution and teaching them how they can have a positive impact themselves, will lead to a cultural behaviour change in how we consume plastics as society. Learning however, doesn’t stop in the classroom. Bringing sustainability into play will raise the eco-warriors of the future and lead to lasting change.
