Wissenschaftliches Tauchen - Scientific Diving
Am Mittwoch, 25.01.2023, findet von 15:00 - 18:00 Uhr der Themennachmittag Wissenschaftliches Tauchen am „love your ocean“ Stand in Halle 14 auf der boot-Messe in Düsseldorf statt. Referenten von der Universität Stuttgart, der Aristoteles Universität von Thessaloniki, der Firma Atlantis, der Technischen Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, der Deutschen Meeresstiftung und DAN geben Einblicke in Forschungsprojekte unter Wasser aus den Bereichen der Archäologie, Geologie, Süßwasser- und Meeresbiologie sowie Tauchmedizin. Im Rahmen des EU-Projektes ScienceDiver wird hier erstmals die neue online-Jobplattform „BlueCareers“ vorgestellt, die sich an alle Interessierten richtet, die im Bereich Wissenschaft und dem Arbeitsmarkt der Blue Economy unter Wasser aktiv sein möchten. Der Themennachmittag ist vor allem für Nachwuchswissenschaftler interessant, die sich über die Chancen und Herausforderungen auf ihrem Karriereweg informieren und mit den Referenten vor Ort ins Gespräch kommen möchten. On Wednesday, 25.01.2023, the themed afternoon Scientific Diving will take place from 15:00 - 18:00 at the "love your ocean" booth in Hall 14 at the boot fair in Düsseldorf. Speakers from the University of Stuttgart, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the company Atlantis, the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, the German Ocean Foundation and DAN will provide insights into underwater research projects in the fields of archaeology, geology, freshwater and marine biology and diving medicine. As part of the EU project ScienceDiver, the new online job platform "BlueCareers" will be presented here for the first time, which is aimed at all those interested in becoming active in the field of science and the job market of the Blue Economy under water. The themed afternoon will be of particular interest to young scientists who would like to find out about the opportunities and challenges on their career path and talk to the speakers on site.
