Robert Marx

Robert Marx (58) studied mechanical engineering and is CEO of Friedrich Marx GmbH & Co.KG since 1992. The company established 1905, has currently 50 employees and imports and supplies among other things power train solutions for marine customers and accessories exclusively for Germany, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic.

Robert Marx was elected President of the German Marine Federation – BVWW in 2003. Before that, he was acting as Vice-President of the federation for 4 years. Since 2004 he has been President of the Düsseldorf Boat Show.

On European level Robert Marx was President of the European Confederation of Nautical Industries (ECNI) and actively involved in the foundation of European Boating Industry. Since 2009 he is Council Member of the European Boating Industry and has been its President from 2011 to 2015.
